Amazon product photo size and rules
Amazon product photo size depends on the store. Torbilo's Save makes 1600 × 2000 px for Amazon US, 1540 × 2000 px for Amazon UK & EU, 1600 × 2000 px for Amazon India, each under 10 MB or 10 MB or 10 MB.

These are the rules in Torbilo's marketplace list, researched in September 2026. Sites change them, so check Amazon's seller help before you upload.

Amazon US
- Main photo: pure white background (RGB 255), product fills at least 85% of the frame.
- Adult clothing is shown on a standing model for the main photo; a ghost mannequin can't be the main photo.
- At least 1600 px tall so shoppers can zoom. No text, logos, props or watermarks on the main photo.

What Save does for Amazon
- Crops each photo around the model to 4:5 and 10:13 at full height, with no bars and no blurred fill, and previews the crop before you download.
- Saves it as JPEG and keeps the file under each store's limit (10 MB) by lowering the JPEG quality until it fits.
- If none of your photos has a white background, Save offers a white version of a photo you already made for 5 credits: the same model, pose and product on pure white.
- Puts every download in a folder for the site, in upload order, and carries an AI-image tag inside each file.
Amazon won't take a ghost mannequin as the main photo, so lead with a photo on a model.

Amazon photos
What size should Amazon product photos be?
Torbilo saves Amazon US photos at 1600 × 2000 px (4:5), Amazon UK & EU photos at 1540 × 2000 px (10:13), Amazon India photos at 1600 × 2000 px (4:5). Rules change, so check Amazon's own seller help before a big upload.
Does Amazon need a white background?
Its rules ask for a pure white main photo. If none of your photos has one, Save offers a white version of a photo you already made for 5 credits.
Can the main photo be a ghost mannequin on Amazon?
No: its rules don't accept a ghost mannequin as the main photo. Lead with a photo of the product on a model, and use ghost mannequin photos for the later images.
Can I use AI-made photos on Amazon?
Amazon's rules about AI-made images can change and Torbilo can't speak for them, so read its current policy before you list. Every Torbilo download carries an AI-image tag inside the file, and some sites, such as Google Shopping, ask for it.
How do I get Amazon photos from Torbilo?
In Settings, add Amazon to My marketplaces. When a shoot is done, open Save and look under For my marketplaces: you see a preview of what Amazon gets, then download up to 24 photos at a time. Downloads are free.
