Terms of use

Using Torbilo
By creating an account you agree to these terms. Torbilo lets you create studio images of products using AI. You must be 18 or older and use the service lawfully.
Torbilo was called Aaina until November 2026. These terms also cover app.aaina.world and the Aaina apps for Shopify, Canva and ChatGPT.
Torbilo is run by Sanju Kumari, Sydney, NSW, Australia (“we”). You can reach us at hello@torbilo.com.
Our models and your own models
The studio models in Torbilo are fictional people created by AI. They do not depict any real person.
You can also create your own model, in two ways:
- A new face made by AI, from your answers about the face, hair and body. It is a fictional adult and must not be made to resemble any real person.
- A real person, from your photos (1 to 3 photos, or one reference sheet of the person). You may only use photos of a person who is 18 or older and who has agreed to be used as a model for your brand, and you must have the right to use the photos. By uploading photos of a person for a model, you make this promise for every upload, whether or not a confirmation is shown on screen; we also ask you to confirm it the first time. You are responsible for having the person's agreement and the right to use the photos. Photos of well-known people are refused.
Your own models are private to your account. They are never shown to other customers, in Explore or in templates others can use, and photos made with them can’t be shared with the community.
Try on me also uses a photo of yourself, to see your own product on you.
Your content
- Only upload photos you own or have the right to use. Anything you make public is also covered by our publishing policy.
- You keep your rights in your photos. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you.
- You may use the images we create for you, including commercially, for example on marketplaces and social media.
- Follow our acceptable use policy: no misleading, unlawful, hateful or sexual content, and no imitating real people.
AI-created images
Images are created by AI and may contain mistakes, for example in details, prints or text. Check each image before you use it, and make sure product listings describe your real product accurately.
Credits and purchases
- Creating images uses credits. The number of credits is shown before you create.
- If an image fails, the credits for it are returned.
- Credits are sold in one-time packs (Starter and Seller) at the prices on our pricing page. A pack is paid once and never renews.
- Brands can also take a monthly plan, which renews every month until it is cancelled. See Monthly plans below.
- Credits never expire while your account is open, whether they come from a pack, a top-up or a monthly plan.
- On the website, our payment partner Dodo Payments is the seller of record for packs and plans: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles sales taxes such as GST or VAT. Its buyer terms also apply to the payment.
- In Shopify, credit packs are sold through Shopify's billing and appear on your Shopify bill. Only the store owner can approve a charge, and Shopify's terms apply to it. These credits belong to your store and can't be used outside Shopify, and website credits can't be used in Shopify.
- Credits bought in the app are sold by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms and refund policies.
- Website purchases, packs and plan payments alike, are non-refundable, except in the cases in our refund policy. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money except as that policy says.
- Welcome and invite credits are promotional and may be removed if the offer is misused.
Brands and teams
- A brand is a shared studio for a team, separate from your own studio. Anyone with a Torbilo account can start one and becomes its Owner. A brand has one Owner at a time, who can invite people as Admin, Creator or Reviewer.
- What each role can do. The Owner can do everything, and is the only one who chooses and pays for the plan, buys credits, connects or removes the OpenAI key, hands the brand over and deletes it. Admins invite and remove people, change roles and monthly photo limits, run the brand’s name, logo, public page and features, and see its credits, spending and activity. Creators make photos, videos, listings, products, poses and scenes, and can remove what they made. Reviewers can see and save the brand’s photos but can’t make anything. Every person uses a seat.
- The Owner answers for the brand. By starting or taking over a brand, the Owner confirms they may act for it. The Owner is responsible to us for what everyone in the brand does there, for who is invited and removed, and for paying for the brand’s plan and credits.
- What is made in a brand belongs to the brand. Photos, videos, products, models, templates and settings made or uploaded in a brand belong to the brand and are controlled by its Owner, not by the person who made them. Everyone who adds something to a brand confirms they have the right to add it. What you make in your own studio stays yours.
- Credits. Credits bought for a brand, or added by its plan, belong to the brand. They can be used only in that brand and can’t be moved to your own studio or another brand. Only the Owner buys them. The Owner and Admins can choose whether Creators see prices. Brands don’t get welcome credits.
- Your own studio stays yours. A brand can’t see your own studio. Photos of yourself, for Try on me or “Me”, can only be used in your own studio, never in a brand.
- Invitations are sent by email to one address and work only for the person who signs in with that address. They last 7 days, and a free seat is needed to join. When you invite someone, you confirm that you may give us their address so we can email the invitation.
- Leaving or being removed. Anyone but the Owner can leave a brand, and the Owner and Admins can remove anyone but the Owner. Their access ends at once. What they made stays with the brand, which can keep using it. Their own studio isn’t touched.
- Handing a brand over. The Owner can hand the brand to one of its Admins by typing the brand’s name. The new Owner takes on all of the Owner’s rights and responsibilities, and the old Owner becomes an Admin. The brand’s credits stay with it. A plan paid with the old Owner’s card is never charged to them again: it ends with the month already paid for and can’t be turned back on. The new Owner can then start their own plan.
- Deleting a brand. Only the Owner can delete a brand, by typing its name. Its card plan is stopped first. The brand then stops working for everyone: its people are removed, open invitations stop working, its plan ends and its OpenAI key is removed. Its photos and files are hidden from everyone at once and erased 30 days after deletion. Unused credits are lost and not refunded, and a deleted brand can’t be brought back.
- Our terms, acceptable use policy and publishing policy apply to everything in a brand. We may remove content, remove a member or suspend a brand that breaks them.
Monthly plans
- The Owner of a brand can choose a monthly plan for it: Pro, Business or Brand. What each plan includes, and its price with taxes included, is on our pricing page. Plans are bought and managed on the website only, by the brand’s Owner.
- Plans are paid through Dodo Payments, by card anywhere or by card or UPI in India. A plan renews every month on the same date until it is cancelled. By starting a plan, the Owner agrees that Dodo Payments charges the plan’s monthly price for the brand’s seats each month.
- The Pro and Business plans add credits every month, when that month’s payment goes through. Like all credits, they never expire while your account is open. Monthly credits are never refunded or exchanged for money.
- Every person in a brand uses a seat, Reviewers too. Pro includes 3 seats and Business includes 10, and more can be added. The Brand plan is priced per seat. A brand can have up to 999 seats.
- Moving to a bigger plan, or adding seats, works straight away. You are charged the difference for the rest of the current month, and you get a share of the extra monthly credits for the days left. With an Indian card or UPI, you confirm an upgrade on a payment page, and automatic monthly charges can take up to 2 days to go through, as Indian bank rules require.
- Moving to a smaller plan, or removing seats, takes effect at the next billing date. You can’t go below the number of people already in the brand.
- The Owner can cancel at any time on the brand’s Plan and billing page. The plan keeps working until the end of the month already paid for, and nothing is charged after that.
- If a monthly payment fails, everything keeps working for 7 days while it is fixed. If it isn’t paid by then, the plan ends.
- When a plan ends, because it was cancelled, not paid or its payment was refunded, the brand keeps everything it made and keeps its leftover credits, except credits taken back for a refund. Everyone in the brand keeps their place, but only the Owner can make new photos, videos and other work that uses credits or AI. Admins, Creators and Reviewers can still open the brand, see its shoots and save what was made. Nobody new can join beyond the Owner’s seat, and the Brand plan’s own OpenAI key and extras such as the monthly own-model round stop. When the Owner starts a plan again, the whole team can make photos again.
- If a plan payment is refunded or disputed with a bank, we take back the unused credits it brought, and a month whose payment is fully refunded, or whose dispute is lost, ends. Our refund policy has the details.
- Brands with an active plan can also buy one-time credit top-ups. They are paid once, never renew and are not refundable.
The Brand plan and your own OpenAI account
- On the Brand plan, the brand’s Owner connects the brand’s own OpenAI account with a key. Work set to run on that key is sent to the brand’s OpenAI account and uses no credits. The brand pays OpenAI directly for it, under the brand’s own agreement with OpenAI.
- OpenAI’s charges, limits, outages and refusals on that account are between the brand and OpenAI. We can’t refund them. If the key stops working, that work stops with a message; we never move it to our own accounts without the brand choosing that.
- Some features can’t run on an OpenAI key, for example product videos. The app shows, for each feature, whether it runs on the key, uses the brand’s credits, or is off.
- Only connect a key you are allowed to use for this. We keep it encrypted and remove it when the brand leaves the Brand plan or the plan ends.
- Our checks, the acceptable use policy and the publishing policy apply in the same way on your own key.
Your own models
- Creating a model costs 50 credits for a round of 2 attempts. For a new face made by AI, each attempt shows you 3 face options to choose from, and we then make your model’s reference sheet from the face you choose. For a real person, each attempt makes the sheet straight from your photos.
- The credits are held when you start and taken once your first attempt’s 3 faces are ready (for a real person, once the sheet passes our automatic check). If we can’t make the faces, or the sheet from your chosen face fails our automatic check twice, and nothing usable was made in that round, the credits are returned. Not choosing a face does not return them.
- Try again starts the round’s second attempt at no extra charge. After both attempts, Try again starts a new round for 50 credits.
- The Business plan includes one free round (2 attempts) each month. On the Brand plan, own models made on your OpenAI key use no credits. A Brand pack bought before packs were replaced by plans includes one free round.
- You choose which sheet becomes your model. The face options you don’t choose, and the other sheets, are deleted for good.
- You can delete a model and its photos at any time. Photos you already made with it stay in your shoots, but you can’t make new ones with it.
- Photos of your own models follow the same terms and acceptable use policy as all other photos.
- If someone tells us their likeness was used without permission, we may remove the model and photos made with it.
Community content
If you share a pose or scene with the community, other users may use it free of charge. Our team reviews shared items and may remove any at any time.
Public catalogues (Looks)
- Looks lets you publish a page of your products with the pictures you choose. Nothing is public until you switch it on. A public page and its pictures can be seen by anyone, shared, and found by search engines.
- You confirm that you have the right to show everything you publish, and that it follows our publishing policy.
- You give us permission to show your published pictures, names and descriptions on your page, on Explore and in link previews.
- You can unpublish at any time. We then stop showing the pictures and remove our public copies of them.
- Published pictures carry a mark that they were made with AI. Anyone can report a page or a picture, and we may hide or remove anything that breaks our rules, with or without notice.
- Pictures of shoots you delete, and pictures made inside another app in its privacy mode, are never shown publicly.
Creator templates
- A creator template is a set of choices (a person or none, a scene, your instructions and up to two reference photos) that other people can use to make their own photos. You can publish one after we check it. We do not show your instructions or your reference photos to anyone.
- You keep all rights in your template. When you publish it you give Torbilo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to run it for other people, and to show its name, description and sample pictures on Torbilo, on Explore, in link previews and in search results, for as long as it is published and for a reasonable time while copies clear.
- Only publish what you have the right to use.
- The person in a template is one of our adult studio models, no person, or the person who uses the template, who adds their own photo or a photo of their model. Children’s and teen models, and your own models, can’t be used in a template.
- Samples may show our adult studio models, no person, or a real adult who agreed to be shown, such as you. Never anyone under 18, a celebrity, a public figure or a look-alike of one.
- Reference photos in a published template must not show any person or face.
- You can withdraw a template at any time. Photos other people already made with it stay theirs. We may remove a template that breaks our rules, and we remove one quickly when someone shows us it should not be public: write to hello@torbilo.com or use the report button on its page.
- Templates are subject to our publishing policy.
Coins
- You earn coins when other people use your published template. Coins are not money and have no cash value.
- Coins cannot be paid out, sold, transferred or exchanged for money. The only thing you can do with them is turn them into credits for use in Torbilo.
- New coins are held for a few days before they are ready, and become ready only when the use is safe from a refund or a dispute. Held coins are shown as on the way.
- We take coins back if a use is refunded, fails, is reversed, or came from a template that broke our rules or from misuse. If those coins were already turned into credits, we may take the credits back too, and your coins can go below zero until new coins cover it.
- The rate (how many coins make a credit), the hold and the limits can change for future uses. Coins already earned keep the rate they were earned at.
- We may stop or reduce coins for an account that misuses them, for example by using its own template to earn.
- Unused coins are lost when an account is deleted.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may change or stop features, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Unused credits and coins are lost when an account is deleted.
If you own a brand that other people are in, hand it over or delete it first. A brand that only you are in is deleted with your account. Your account leaving also ends your place in every brand you joined; what you made there stays with those brands.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we show a notice in the app and update the date above. If you keep using Torbilo after that, you accept the new terms.
